Rules about Plurals.
Add s to most nouns to form plurals (ex. friend/friends)
Add -es to nouns ending with s, ss, sh, ch, x (ex. box/boxes)
Change the y to i and add -es to nouns ending in the consonant y (ex. country/countries)
Add s to nouns ending with the vowel y (key/keys)
Change the f or fe to v and add -es to some nouns ending in f or fe (ex. half/halves, knife/knives)
Some nouns change their spellings to make the plural (ex. foot/feet)
Some nouns are spelled the same for both singular and plural forms (ex. sheep)
